Consulting.
Notes that say what to start and what to postpone.
We provide an outside technical view: AI roadmaps, architecture reviews, technical due diligence, and team assessment. The output is a document you can act on, not a presentation. A typical review takes 2–3 weeks.
What we do
Most technical decisions go wrong not from lack of knowledge but from the absence of an outside view. A team inside the daily work cannot see the alternative; management cannot verify the technical rationale. We fill that gap.
In an AI strategy engagement we survey your processes and produce a concrete priority list: which process can be improved with AI today, which needs data infrastructure first, and which should be left alone.
In an architecture review we examine your current system and report on scaling, cost, and maintenance risk. Every finding comes with a recommendation and an effort estimate — a report that only lists problems is useless.
Technical due diligence makes the technical debt you are acquiring visible when buying or investing in a software company: code quality, infrastructure, team dependencies, licensing, and security risk.
Who it's for
- Management teams that want to start with AI but do not know where
- Technology companies with growing pains and a system that will not scale
- Investors acquiring or investing in a software company
- CTOs and technology leaders who want a second opinion
How we work
- 012–3 days
Scoping
We clarify which question you actually want answered. Vaguely scoped consulting produces a report everyone likes and nobody can act on.
- 021–2 weeks
Review
Code, infrastructure, process, and team interviews. Findings are built on evidence, not opinion.
- 033–5 days
Findings and recommendations
A prioritized list of findings, each with a recommended action, an effort estimate, and the risk of postponing it.
- 04Variable
Implementation support
Optional. Once decisions are made, we work alongside your team through the first steps.
What you get
- A prioritized findings and recommendations document
- An actionable roadmap: 30 / 90 / 180 day steps
- Decision records — which option was ruled out and why
- An executive summary and a team walkthrough
Frequently asked questions
- What do we receive from a consulting engagement?
- A prioritized list of findings, a recommended action and effort estimate for each, a 30/90/180 day roadmap, and an executive summary. We do not produce slide decks; the output is a document your team can move straight into its plan.
- How long does it take?
- A focused architecture review takes 2 weeks, an organization-wide AI strategy 3–4 weeks, and technical due diligence 1–2 weeks. Scope is settled in the first conversation and we work at a fixed fee.
- Can our own team implement your recommendations?
- Yes — that is the outcome we prefer. Recommendations are written against your team's current capability. We can walk alongside the first steps, but creating dependency is not the goal.
- Do you assess our team?
- At the level of structure and process: role distribution, knowledge-silo risk, code ownership, review culture. We do not run individual performance reviews — that is not a consultant's job.
